The Alien in us

Have you ever felt like a misfit or an alien on this planet?Like the things you do,or the way you think doesn't necessarily make sense to everyone around you.I feel that way quite often,so instead of mulling over why I am the way I am,I thought lets go crazy with it on a canvas piece. This is a visual representation of an almost human looking person who's not,if that makes any sense.

Its still work in progress, loads more to do,but I'm feeling like a misfit smug today!! :)

What is Creativity?-Jason Silva

Today was a super  exhilarating and exhausting day!Had two killer meetings, its always fun when you get the opportunity to work with creative people. If theres one thing i miss from my advertising days its the crazy brainstorming sessions.Off late I've been feeling that void,i ideate in isolation,if i bounce ideas off people its not always the right people, place or time to truly elicit unabashed wild ideas.

Have the privilege of working with some very interesting and creative people in my new project and after a long time felt the much missed buzz to being able to brainstorm!!

Happy tired i am :)

Jason Silva's Shots of Awe is a bloody good way to end the day,ta ta!!

Creativity is Madness-Shots of Awe by Jason Silva

I'm a huge fan of the philosopher, visionary and media artist Jason Silva. If you haven't seen his work i urge you to check out Shots of Awe a wonderful series with delightfully engaging quote, little anecdotes and a beautiful montage of eye catching visuals. He talks about everything from Love,death,technology,pain,creativity...This is one of my favourite films-Creativity is Madness

"We might say that both the artist and theneurotic bite off more than they can chew, but the artist spews it back out again and chews it over in an objectified way, as an external, active, work project..."
